Jeff's family went on a camping trip. They used 1/6 tank of gas on the first day. They used 2/3 tank on the second day. what fraction of the tank of gas remains?

1/6 remains  because they used 2/3 + 1/6
common denominators.... 4/6 + 1/6 is 5/6.
5/6 were used, and 1/6 remains.

The answer would be 1/6... Because 6/6-(1/6+4/6)=1/6
