A converging lens or otherwise known as convex lens is curved on both ends which means that the light coming out of it come together to meet at a certain point. This meeting point is known as the focal point. 

Yes, if you'll consider at which direction the light passes through. If the light passes from left to right, then that would equate to one focal point and if light passes through from right to left then that would equate to a second focal point.
Thus, this would give you two focal points.
