Question 1:

The Distance-Time graph of an object gives the speed of the object, as speed is defined as ratio of total distance travelled to total time taken. So, if the given graph is the graph of speed, the axes represent time and distance.
The time is always represented along x-axis in such case and distance is represented along y-axis. The time varies from 0 to 6 and Distance varies from 0 to 25. 

Question 2:

From point 2 to point 6 on x-axis, there is no change in the distance covered as the value on y-axis is not changing. This means the truck is not moving and is stationary from point 2 to point 6. 

A horizontal line in the distance - time graph always represents that the object is stationary. 

It can also be seen in this way, the distance covered at point 6 is the same as the distance covered at point 2. This shows the truck did not cover any distance between point 2 and 6.
