A municipality considering measure to decrease local air pollution would achieve the largest decrease from switching vehicles that run in the city from gasoline to natural gas.
If they were to do this, the gasoline usage for the large vehicles that are constantly running in service would drop. The natural gas would then replace it and lesson the pollution in the air.
