In your opinion, how well do U.S. courts live up to the ideal of “equal justice under the law”? Explain your answer.

Some courts are very unfair, and most of the time it's not the jury or the judge, it's the police. (In some cases it might be the jury or the judge) Have you been targeted? If so, you know what I'm talking about. If not it might be hard for you to understand my point. If we rid the law-community of racism, it would be equal.
