x= 1st integer
x+1= 2nd integer
x+2= 3rd integer

Add the 1st and 3rd set equal to 26.

x + (x+2)= 26
combine like terms
2x + 2= 26
subtract 2 from both sides
2x= 26
divide both sides by 2
x= 13

Substitute x=13 to find 2nd integer.
= x+1
= 13 + 1
= 14 second integer

ANSWER: The second integer is 14.

Hope this helps! :)
