A pie was divided into fifths. Emily ate 1/5 of the pie. Tony ate 2/5 of the pie. Jenny ate 1/5 of the pie. How much of the pie was left?

5/5 is a whole pie. Add all the Slices of pie taken away. 1/5+2/5+1/5= 4/5 Whole pie minus slices taken away equals What is left of the pie 5/5 - 4/5 = 1/5

there are only 5 parts of the pie, 1/5 + 1/5 +2/5 is 4/5, so there is 1/5 of the pie left.
