A character flaw is a flaw in book characters that usually leads to bad things. If they didn't have the flaw nothing bad would happen to them. For example, Beowulf is a character who was very proud and thought that he could kill a dragon on his own. His flaw is his pride, and if he wasn't so proud then he would live.
