becuase we were not expecting the britash to have the native canadians to team up with the britash and ambush thestates

We were totally unprepared other than a good leader (George Washington) The British had good weapons and trained very good they were among the best.
While we had some training and we were poorly equipped to fight against the British.
But George Washington was a good leader..
