Anything that power to 1/3, then it should be like below 
[tex] \sqrt[3]{x-2} = 5 [/tex]
you have to get rid the power of 1/3
[tex] ((x-2)^{ \frac{1}{3} })^{3} = (5)^{3} [/tex]
[tex]x - 2 = 125 [/tex]
x = 127
