Angle 1= 7x-24
Angle 2= 5x+14
Angle 1= Angle 3

7x-24= 5x+14
add 24 to both sides
7x= 5x+38
subtract 5x from both sides
2x= 38
divide both sides by 2
x= 19

Angle 1:
Substitute x=19 into equations
=7x-24
=7(19)-24
=133-24
=109

Angle 2:
=5x+14
=5(19)+14
=95+14
=109

x=19
Angle 1= 109°
Angle 2= 109°
(angles 1 & 2 are equal)
