We know that 1g=1000 mg thus
250 g=250/1000=1/4 g
hence the number of drugs to administer given that the doctor instructed for 1 g antibiotics will be:
(amount ordered)/(the amount in 1 tablet)
1/(1/4)
=4 tablets

Since the doctor requires 1 gram of the oral antibiotic and the tablets are 250mg each, we would need to administer 1 gram = 1000 mg / 250 mg/tablet = 4 total tablets. This would provide the necessary dose of the medication to the patient which is needed in order to start the procedure.
