Consonance is a literary technique which involves repetition of consonants in order to create a certain sound effect. This repetition is usually found at the end of those words, although it can be found in the middle and at the beginning as well sometimes. Here is an example:
“Rap rejects my tape deck, ejects projectile." The same sound ('ject') is repeated.
