Susan's age is 3 times andrea's age. Barbara is twice as old as andrea. the sum of their ages is 30. how old is each girl?

Let a be Andrea's age. Then Susan is 3a, and Barbara is 2a.So:
a+2a+3a=30
6a=30
a=5
Andrea is 5, Susan is 15, and Barbara is 10
