To find out what two thirds of 24 bananas will be, you first need to divided 24 by 3. The answer to this will be 8, so we therefore know that 8 in one third. To find two thirds, simply times one third (8) by two, so 8*2 is 16. From this we now know that two thirds of 24 bananas will be 16.
