The sun is about 109 times larger than the earth in diameter. 1,300,000 Earths can fit in the sun.

The sun is 900,000 miles (1,448,410 km) wide. It is the brightest object in the sky. To put into perspective how big the sun is, about 1.4 million Earths could fit inside the sun!
