If function f is defined by f x( ) = 3x2 − 5x + 4, what is f x( − 4) ?

f(-4) = 3 x 2 - 5(-4) + 4
3x2= 6
-5(-4)= 20
6-20= -14
-14+4= -10
f(-4) = -10
