Homologous structure:The vertebral appendages of the original bones are the same. These structures are called homologs.

Vestigial organs: Sometimes there is a structure in the living being and it performs a task, but the same structure is relatively smaller in size and is not known, or it has a very minor role. Such a structure is called vestigial
