[tex]x+6y=4[/tex]

Step 2: Rewrite
[tex]4x+6y=4[/tex]
[tex]x+6y=4[/tex]

Step 3: Solve
[tex]5x/5=0/5[/tex]
[tex]x=0[/tex]

Step 4: Replace back into original first equation
[tex]0+6y=4[/tex]
or [tex]6y=4[/tex]

Step 5: Solve
[tex]6y/6=4/6[/tex]
[tex]y= \frac{2}{3} [/tex]
