convert the equation to slope-intercept form first by subtracting the 5x on both sides, giving you -5y = -5x +20.

Then, divide the entire equation by -5 to isolate the y, giving you y = x - 4.

After that, the x is your slope, which is a positive 1x.  In other words, go up one integer to the right on the x axis and up one integer on the y axis for the slope.  (and down one, over one to the left in the negative fields)

the -4 is the y-intercept, so the line crosses the y-axis through the point -4.
