The range is the difference in between the largest and the smallest number in the set.
On a box and whisker plot, the maximum and the minimum are shown as the dots on the furthest right and left side. On this particular one, they would be the dots on 29 and 17.
All you have to do is
29-17
and you get 12
The range of the data is 12.
