Those are coordinate points in two dimensions, you need to use the distance formula...

d^2=(dx)^2+(dy)^2

d^2=(-2--3)^2+(-4--6)^2

d^2=1^2+2^3

d^2=1+4

d^2=5

d=√5 units

d≈2.24 units
