Find the product of 72 and 20 and then subtract 2 hundreds + 4 tens

First you want to multiply 72 and 20.

You will get 1440

 2 hundreds (100) = 200       (2* 100)

1440- 200= 1240

4 tens (10) = 40                   (4*10)

1240+40= 1280

1280 is your answer.
