a skier is trying to decide whether or not to buy a season ski pass. A daily pass costs $61. A season ski pass costs $300. The skier would have to rent skies with either passes by $30 per day. How many days would the skier have to go skiing in order to make the season pass less expensive than daily passes?

D=61d+30d=91d,

S=300+30d

S<D

300+30d<91d

300<61d

d>4.91  Since days are integers,

The skier would have to go at least 5 days to make the season pass less expensive than using the daily pass.
