When x = 2, y = 50 and when x = 4, y = 100. Which direct variation equation can be used to model this function?

xy = 100
xy = 400
y = 25x
y = 100x

y=25x because if you were plug in the x for both equations:

y=25 (2)
y=50

y=25 (4)
y=100

It would be the same value as y.

The answer is y=25x


bc 25x2=50 and 25x4=100
