T= 3x + 2
T= 3(1/3) + 2
T= 1 +2
T = 3

We're given the equation T = 3x + 2.
They're asking you to find the value of T when x = 1/3, so you all need to do is replace x by its value (in this case by 1/3) in the equation.

T = 3x + 2
T = 3 * (1/3) + 2
T = 3/3 + 2
T = 1 + 2
T = 3

So when x = 1/3 , T = 3.
