The 0.0080 hour have passed through the KCl.

Calculation of  time:

given,

m = 1.18 kg

current I = 0.743 Amp/s

M.wt of potassium = 39.10 g

Moltan KCl

KCl  → [tex]K^{+}[/tex] +[tex]Cl^{-}[/tex]

[tex]K^{+} +1e^{-}[/tex]→ K

n = 1 mole

m = M.wt x I x t/n x F

t = m x n x F/ M.wt x I

= 1.18 kg x 1 mole x 96000/ 39.10g x 0.743

= 29.0513/3600

= 0.0080 hour

Hence, the 0.0080 hour have passed through the KCl.
