To find the slope of the line, we must have any two points on the line.

We can use (0,1) and (1,-1).

The slope's equation is [tex]\frac{y_{2}-y_{1} }{x_{2} -x_{1} } =\frac{-1-1}{1-0} =\frac{-2}{1} =-2[/tex]

So the slope is -2
