Write an equation of the line that passes through (−2, 4) and is parallel to y = −3x + 4.

at x=-2,

y=-3(-2)+4

y=10

at y=4,

4=-3x+4

3x=4-4

x=0

(-2,4),(0,10)

gradiant=-3

y-4=-3(x-(-2))

y-4=-3x-6

y=-3x-2
