Answer:

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Distance formula between two points ,

[tex](x_{1},y_{1}) {\text{and}}, (x_{2},y_{2}), is=\sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2}}[/tex]

Length

= Distance between Points ,(7,3) and (12,3)

               [tex]=\sqrt{(12-7)^2+(3-3)^2}\\\\=5[/tex]

Breadth

=Distance between Points ,(12,3) and (12,11)

               [tex]=\sqrt{(12-12)^2+(3-11)^2}\\\\=8[/tex]

→→Area = 5 × 8

     = 40 square units
