Why is the legislature called law- making organ of the state? How does it make law? ​

The legislature is the primary body designated to pass laws. If a proposal for a law, call a bill is adopted according to those procedures, which may involve other parts of the government, such as executive approval, it becomes law. Hence legislature is called law- making organ of the state.
