What are the solutions to the equation (2x+1)^2-(x+13)=3x^2-2x+2

4x^2+4x+1-x-13= 4x^2+3x-12

4x^2+3x-12=3x^2-2x+2

X^2+5x-14=0

Then use quadratic equation to find the values of the 2 x and you will get,

x=2 and x=-7
