why would cells divide using mitosis​

It’s important for our cells to divide because it’s a way of making and producing more cells that are genetically the same and identical as the parent cell. Mitosis is crucial because it plays an important part in the development and growth of our bodies. It also help repair damages because mitosis produces new cells that will replace cells that are old, lost or damaged.
