How are the working conditions today similar/different from Lyddie’s working conditions?

I did this in 7th grade the book about lyddie so here is the answer,

The actual conditions of Cutler's tavern are not terrible.  The place is an efficiently run, crowded, and busy place of business.  If it was a terribly filthy, disgusting place, Mrs. Cutler wouldn't have so much business.  But simply because the working conditions are far from dirty and abysmal doesn't mean that the working conditions are easy.
