Taxes go to the government. All Taxes we pay whether it’s federal, state, or company, either way it’s going to the government so that they can create new environments and opportunities.

Example: You have to pay a tax at walmart depending on where you live is how much the tax will be, but that money goes to the government. without the help of the government there would be no Walmart.
