Calculate the area of the full circle:

Area = PI x r^2

Area = 3.14 x 14^2  = 615.44 sq. cm

45 degrees is 1/8 of a circle, multiple the area of the circle by 1/8

615.44 x 1/8 = 76.93, round to 77 cm^2

The answer is B. 77 cm^2
