Depending on your relationship with the guy if it’s friendly it’s just jokingly but if it’s someone you like and he says that he either is playful or he doesn’t care
He is most likely just playing and maybe thinks your just asking to be funny? If he can joke with you like this, I would assume you guys have a close relationship and he doesn't hate you.
