HELP :). Explain how soaps lower the surface tension of the fats and oils ?

Soap is a surfactant that contains hydrophobic or water-fearing and hydrophilic or water-loving ends that  is used for cleaning dirt. These hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties are what causes the surface tension of the fats and oils to lower.
