Are 6 + 10 and 2(3) + 2(5) equivalent expressions? How do you know?

Yes they are because if you do 6+10= 16 and 2(3) multiplied is 6 and 2(5) multiplied is 10 basically
6+10=16 &
2x3+2x5=16
