Given that : h(x) = - x - 1 .

And we are required to find the value of h(-2) .

For this just in place of x replace it by -2 .

So ,

=> h(x) = - x - 1.

=> h(x) = - ( x + 1 ) .

=> h(-2) = - ( -2 + 1 )

=> h(-2) = - 1 × -1 .

=> h(-2) = 1

Hence the required answer is 1
