the formula for slope is (x2-x1)/(y2-y1).

we label the points accordingly:
(-7,3) as (x1, y1)
and
(4,-2) as (x2, y2).

now just plug it into the formula.

(-2-3)/(4-(-7))

(-5/11)

the slope is -5/11.

hope this helps! (:
