Putting the value of "y" from equation (iii) in equation (ii).

- 5x = -15

[tex]x = \frac{ - 15}{ - 5} [/tex]

Therefore, x= 3.

Now, putting the value of "x" in equation (iii).

y= 10- 2x

y= 10- 2×3

Therefore, y= 4.
