We have the equation:

[tex]9x^2-12x+4=0[/tex]

so:

[tex]a=9\qquad b=-12\qquad c=4[/tex]

and:

[tex]\Delta=b^2-4ac=(-12)^2-4\cdot9\cdot4=144-144=\boxed{0}[/tex]

This equation has one solution.
