Hey there,

The question is to find the product of the two factors (2p + q)(-3q - 6p + 1).

Now we just multiply across:

  • -6pq - 12p² + 2p -3q²- 6pq + q

Now we combine like terms:

  • -12p² - 3q² + 2p + q

So the result would be -12p² - 3q² + 2p + q.
