Hey there,

The word problem is that a number multiplied by [tex]\frac{5}{3}[/tex] would give you [tex]-\frac{5}{11}[/tex] .

Now to solve we would do division, and divide [tex]-\frac{5}{11}[/tex] by [tex]\frac{5}{3}[/tex] :

  • KCF: [tex]-\frac{5}{11}[/tex] × [tex]\frac{3}{5}[/tex] = [tex]-\frac{15}{55}[/tex] = [tex]-\frac{3}{11}[/tex]

So the answer would be [tex]-\frac{3}{11}[/tex].

Hope I helped,

Amna
