if the net force upon on object is zero, can it have a non-zero accerleration?

In order for any object to accelerate, the net force on the object has to be non-zero, and according to Newton's Second Law of Motion. The Force = Mass x Acceleration. So the answer is yes it can have a non-zero acceleration
