By controlling the media the nazi’s were able to sugar coat everything they did, such as keep what they were REALLY doing away from the public eye, this being said no one really knew exactly how harsh the concentration camps were and this being so is why hitler was kept in power for so long and why no one really necessarily tried to stop them.
