=4(3+-4x)+2x=-12
=12+-16x+2x=-12
=12+-14x=-12
=-14x+(12+-12)=-12+-12
=-14x=-24
=(-1/14 * -14)x = -24 * -1/14
=1x=24/14
x=12/7
