The presented equation of the line in the given is in a slope - intercept form which is generally expressed as,

                                      y = mx + b

where m and b are the slope and y-intercept, respectively. By properly evaluating the given, it is known that the slope (m) is -5/4 and y-intercept (b) is 1.
