y = 3x +7
y + 9 = x

y = 3(y+9) + 7

y = 3y + 27 + 7

0 = 2y + 34

-2y = 34

y = -17

Substitute into any original equation:

-17 + 9 = x

-8 = x

Therefore co-ordinates are:

(-8, -17)

Hope this has helped you today

Have a great day
